Analysis of Alternatives provides information for fact based decision making at various points within a project life cycle. This one day (6 hour) course includes “The Basics” (definitions, drivers, time frames); six steps to conducting an analysis of alternatives; application to different types of projects and various tools. By the end of class, each participant will:

• Understand analysis of alternatives and when one should be performed
• Know the HHS six-step process for conducting an analysis of alternatives
• Be able to apply to both large and small projects
